Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are always appreciated. Please turn in a Volunteer Form or contact us if you are interested.

Room Mother (Full School Year Commitment)

Volunteers act as liaisons between teachers and class parents.  Volunteers organize class parties throughout the year and make arrangements for teacher gifts at the end of each semester, if the class chooses to give a joint gift.

Teacher Appreciation (Events held approximately every 2 months)

Volunteers assist the Teacher Appreciation Chairman with breakfast and lunch celebrations throughout the year.  Volunteers help with setup and cleanup.  Choose from several available dates throughout the year.

Picture Day Photographer Assistant (Fall and Spring)

Volunteers track which students have been photographed. Choose from multiple dates in the Fall and Spring.

School-wide Thanksgiving Feast (November 19, 2010)

 Volunteers help with setup/cleanup and serve lunch to the children attending the Feast.

Open House Tours (January 25 – 26, 2011)

Volunteers lead school tours after a brief meeting with the Director.

Dad’s Hoedown (February 25, 2011)

Volunteers help with setup/cleanup and serve lunch to the Dad’s and children attending the Hoedown.

Book Fair (May 5 – 6, 2011)

Volunteers help with setup, cleanup, and assist shoppers with book selections.

Mother’s Celebration (May 6, 2011)

Volunteers help with decorations, serving brunch and clean up.
